Do I need to hire a car?
It is best if you hire a car which we can arrange for you if necessary. If you don’t want to drive it is best to stay in the village and we can provide a collection service. Alora is connected by bus and train to Malaga and the coast.
How hot is the summer?
Temperatures can go to the high 30’s in mid summer so we ride early in the morning and in the evening with full moon rides being a summer favourite. You are welcome to cool off in our pool after riding.
I haven't ridden for years - Is this something for me?
We welcome all standards and ages and specialise in helping nervous riders. This gives a confidence boost to your life in general and so much pleasure just to be around horses.
Is there anything for my non horsey partner or friend?
Non riding guests are welcome to watch and relax, the countryside is beautiful for walking. There are many activities in the immediate area such as mountain biking, climbing and caving , quad treks, fishing, painting and walking. Within 2 hours are the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada or the beautiful beaches of Tarifa with kite and wind surfing.

Until our own accommodation is ready you can find something for every one in the local area.
